After a successful internship with Statkraft this summer we have been invited to move into Statkraft’s HQ in Oslo. This means we will be having two offices, one at NTNU Accel in Trondheim and the other at Statkraft's HQ in Lysaker. The invitation paved the way for potential collaboration with one of the largest renewable producers in Europe.
NårgeSol wants to thank Statkraft for such tremendous support, we believe that this will be a win-win for both sides on different levels. Looking forward to all the synergy ahead - Stay tuned! :)

Green Challenge is an educational initiative at DTU and is held annually, with an aim to ensure future engineers integrate aspects of sustainability, climate technology, and the environment in their work.
We were honoured to represent NTNU in this year's contest, along with four other Norwegian student startups. It was inspiring and refreshing to learn about how other projects initiated by some of the country’s bright minds devoted to environmental sustainability. During the day, all participants pitched to 3 different panels with a mixed of politicians, industry experts, students, professors and researchers, followed by a short Q&A. We want to congrats one of the NTNU's startups - Sensero, for winning the International Price! :)
Grøn Dyst is about working towards UN's Sustainable Development Goals together, while offering great networking and cultural exchange opportunities. Before the actual pitching contest, DTU has organised a range of social activities for us as international students to warm up, including team building exercise, campus visits, pitching workshop and dessert making! We were offered a fun dessert making session to make Flødeboller at 'Social Foodie' - a social based bakery in Copenhagen. Did you know that a bag of nuts is equivalent to 6months of school tuition in some African countries? Never take things for granted people! :O
Lastly, we want to thank DTU for such great experience!
On 24-25th May, NårgeSol attended another business bootcamp in Gothenburg, which was part of the Nordic Tech Week. The first day was about 'match-making with Corporates' followed by an after party ;) A reverse pitch was held and large Corporates were invited on stage to pitch and convince startups why they are worth talking to, while startups were being the jury panel! After that, startups were encouraged to book a 15-min appointment with the desired Corporates.
Congrats Skanska (SW) and Fortum for winning the pitch!
The second day was a sales bootcamp ran by Johan Sköld, who is the Head of growth at Chalmers Venture. He was touching on several topics, ranging from business psychology, team management to sales approach...and of course his experience and insight stories at Silicon Vally were the best part! :)
We want to thank Climate-KIC, Nordic Tech Week and Chalmers University of Technology for making this a fruitful event!

As part of the reward from winning the pitch at Energy Transition Conference in February, NårgeSol together with other startups from Climate-KIC Greenhouse Program got invited to Equinor's Innovation Centre at Rotvoll to present their business concept exhaustively, followed by a delicious lunch on 20th April.
Such experience allowed us to gain insight on how such state-owned enterprise operates within the innovation ecosystem and their contribution in energy transition. NårgeSol wants to thank Equinor for the hospitality, plus the valuable feedback and advise that would further enhance our startup journey.
On 8-9th March, NårgeSol attended the first Nordic bootcamp offered by ClimateKIC Greenhouse Pre-incubation Program. All other Nordic startups in the same program were gathered in Copenhagen, including teams from Finland, Sweden, Denmark and Norway. The bootcamp consisted of drawing illustration workshop, business model configuration, idea exchange and UN's sustainable development goals (SDGs) implementation.
We definitely have enjoyed and appreciated the positive vibe and synergy created during the process!
Thank you ClimateKIC Nordic for organising the bootcamp! Looking forward to the future workshops! :)
NårgeSol showcased and pitched at Energy Transition Conference and has won 2nd place in the pitching contest!
The conference was focusing on strategies for a sustainable future, targeting industry leaders, NGOs, politicians, researchers and education institutions. It consisted of presentations and panels discussions that allowed knowledge exchange between experts and audience, and was organised by NTNU, CenSES, Equinor and Technoport.
NårgeSol participated in the Sustainable Transition Competition, a pitching contest for student startups within the environmental domain and contributing to green shift. We got awarded a 5000NOK cash price along with an invitation to Equinor's Innovation Centre.
NårgeSol wants to thank Equinor for the price, and all the organizers for arranging such great conference! :)
Lerchendalkonferansen is an annual high-level conference which aims to put the most urgent topics for business and society on the national agenda. As a platform where leading stakeholders from business, politics and research meet to discuss, strike partnerships and take initiatives, with an aim to contribute to societal change balancing the social, ecological and economic dimensions.
The theme for this year's conference was “From visions to execution – Norwegian competitiveness in a digital world”. With talks from influencers like prime minister Erna Solberg, chief technology officer at Microsoft, Shahzad Rana, and executive vice president in SINTEF, Alexandra Bech Gjørn, the conference program primarily focused on innovation.
Being part of Climate-KIC, NårgeSol was lucky enough to participate at this year's conference. Through quality round table discussions, insightful presentations, panel debates and banquet dinner, we not just gained insights and contributed to the important topics from an entrepreneur perspective, but also established relationships with influential decision makers.
We want to thank Forskningrådet - the Research Council of Norway, NTNU, SINTEF and the Norwegian Society of Graduate Technical and Scientific Professionals for making the conference a great success.
